class=\"wp-block-heading\">Compliance and Safety Standards<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>BIS certification is generally voluntary but may be made mandatory to protect human, public interest, or prevent unfair trade practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The certification ensures that products imported into the country are safe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For an importer, BIS certification ensures there aren\u2019t any procedural delays at the customs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Industry Impact and Opportunities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Growth Prospects and Strategies<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>India\u2019s electronic manufacturing sector is expected to grow 41% by FY26 due to increased imports from China.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The global shift towards India is driven by the \u201cChina+1\u201d approach, where companies are diversifying their manufacturing bases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The report highlights
